Driven into dotage by the pressure of having George W Bush for a son, George Sr. breaks down in public whist ostensibly lauding other, smarter, son - Jeb Bush's dignity in both victory and defeat.
Sr. knows that this surely is the end of the Bush dynasty. Never again will a Shrub sit astride world politics like Jabba the Hutt dropping turds into a coke bottle.
Celebration is subdued but heartfelt.

Rummy wanted to cut and run too? Who the fuck is running this war?
What really aggravates me about this whole thing is the incompetence of the so-called war mongers.
Frist is gone, John Kerry somehow doesnt know he's gone, Hillary in battle axe mode ain't gonna be president. Will Gore forget he's gone? Will John Edwards and Jim Webb lead the class war? Is John McCain insane? or just a Republican all along?
Keith Olbermann said "Shavian like Shaw" today on his show discussing the pygmalion quality of Paris bringing High Culture to Britney.
Who the fuck really are Mitt Romney and Evan Bayh? Romney's a Massachusetts Mormon, formerly Moderate but running far right. Evan Bayh is the weekend anchor on WABC in Indy.
The quality of political discourse on the net is rather poor. We are the exception.

two left feet or grand diabolical design?
The Bush admin diplomatic effort seems to be run by incompetents. From refusing to talk to everyone we don't agree with (North Korea, Iran, and Syria) to sending abrasive windbag Bolton to the United Nations, to leaking documents critical of our vital allies (the Hadley memo dissing Iraq PM Maliki causing him to cancel his big date with Bush in Jordan - Bush's plans for a 3-way with Maliki and King Abdullah of Jordan went up in smoke) our foreign policy is in apparent disarray.
Are these people stupid or crazy like the fox? After 9/11 the brain trust at the White House (Cheney, Rummy, and the Neo Cons) came to the conclusion that fundamentalist islam is the primary threat to U.S. global interests (economic liberalism and control of access to fossil fuels). Islam is split into 3 main factions (Sunni, Shia, and Sufi)
The Sufi don't matter much (primarily hashish dervishes and homoerotic poets) but the Shia and the Sunni hate each other as much or more than they hate infidels (us). By invading Iraq we have exacerbated these sectarian tensions.This is uncontroversial.
I suggest that this has been done intentionally (too few troops, disbanding the 300,000 stong Iraqi military which seemed designed to fuel the insurgency, ineffective reconstuction efforts) to destabilize the entire middle east by racheting up the Civil War in Iraq to the point that the big regional powers - Saudi Arabia with its tribal ties to Iraq's Sunni minority and Iran - Shia co-religionaries of the Iraqi majority - are boxed into a regional war. The end result will be long term U.S. / Israeli occupation of the oil producing regions of the Middle East and the end of Saudi and Iranian dominance over their respective flavors of Islamic Fundamentalism.
Maybe the Bush administration is run by fools. Maybe these are some of the most degenerate Machiavellian sons of bitches ever. Time will tell but my money is on the latter.

since this is the begining - how about some info? my name is dave, 33 yrs old, jack of all trades, father of two lovely girls ages 2 and 6. neither of their mothers like me much (advice to those who will take it: don't have children with women who don't like you) Here, this is a manifesto supposedly so rule #1:
1) Never have more than 2 children with women who do not like you
Or I could say, "We the fascist futurists declare the advent of the futurist italian hat made of neon and bakelite, and diesel engines" but say it my way which is, "We the Eternal Heretics reject rules, rulemaking, and most of all rulers, nevertheless we demand a return to that golden age of Orthodoxy that is spelled out to the gnats ass in the Scriptures of (illegible).
I'm not so great at this, me being a beginner today. but let me say one other thing about Heresy:
Heresy is practiced, at its highest level, by the heresiarch. This is straight out of Borges. We recognize no such position or title. We content ourselves with spreading our non standard demands for a return to normalcy. Staring into the abyss, as it were. Remember the words of the sublime Cato as he disemboweled himself rather than live to see the end of the republic - the rise of Tyranny and the destruction of virtue in that peculiar roman sense: "illegible"
